On October 16, Chengli Automobile Group Co., Ltd. held a global partner gathering and 21st anniversary celebration at its Suizhou headquarters. Global suppliers, dealers and industry experts gathered to recall the development process, discuss cooperation plans and explore the future of the industry.

21 Years of Development: From a Hard Start to a Top 500 Private Enterprise

Chengli Group, established in September 2004, comprises four production bases, 16 subsidiaries, and 155 production and operation units. It primarily engages in the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of complete vehicles, special-purpose vehicles, new energy vehicles, auto parts, and emergency equipment

At the conference, Chengli Group Chairman Cheng A'luo reviewed the group's development history, from its difficult early days to its gradual market foothold and growth into a world-renowned special-purpose vehicle company. Every step has been shaped by the Chengli spirit of hard work and integrity. "We remain customer-oriented, continuously optimizing our products and services to create greater value for our customers." Cheng A'luo emphasized that Chengli will continue to increase its R&D investment and deepen collaboration with global partners to jointly promote technological innovation and industrial upgrading in the special-purpose vehicle industry.

At the end of August this year, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released a list of the "Top 500 Chinese Private Enterprises in 2025." Chengli Automobile Group Co., Ltd. was included on the list, ranking 320th, up 32 places from last year. At the same time, the company was also included in the Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission's list of "World-Class Enterprises" to be cultivated.

Domestic and international efforts: Foreign trade growth is impressive

With its international presence, Chengli Group's foreign trade performance continues to climb. "From January to July this year, our company's foreign trade exports reached nearly US$50 million, accounting for nearly 10% of Chengli Group's total output value," said Mei Peng, Sales Manager of Chengli. "In the first half of the year, our foreign trade maintained strong momentum, with exports covering eight product lines and hundreds of varieties. Total exports increased by 25% compared to the same period last year, achieving both growth in scale and growth."

In order to further expand overseas markets, Chengli Group has set up marketing service outlets and established authorized cooperation relationships overseas on the one hand, and on the other hand, it has expanded channels online by relying on digital platforms, and deepened cooperation offline through international exhibitions and field visits. The overseas base in the Federal Territory of Labuan, Malaysia has been officially completed, and the construction of more overseas joint venture bases will be promoted in the future.
